Xbox 360 Quick Charge Kit for wireless accessories now available
The Xbox 360 Quick Charge Kit is now available for purchase, Microsoft has announced. The Quick Charge Kit is the fastest way to recharge battery packs for Xbox 360 controllers and other accessories.

Using the kit, two battery packs can be fully recharged in less than four hours and in two hours for a single pack. A battery offers up to 25 hours of play per charge.
The actual length of play per charge depends on whether vibration is enabled and whether the headset is used. For example, playing Ghost Recon Advance Warfigher on Xbox Live with a headset will drain the controller quicker than playing Hexic.
From Xbox.com’s newsflash:
Recharge in a flash and kiss disposable batteries goodbye with the Xbox 360™ Quick Charge Kit. Quickly recharge up to two battery packs at the same time.
Your Xbox 360 Wireless Controller needs a new battery? Swap in a fresh pack from the Quick Charge Kit.
Multiple wireless controllers? Pick up a couple of extras, so you’ll always be ready with a fully charged battery that’s ready to go.
(One rechargeable battery pack is included in the Quick Charge Kit. Additional packs sold separately.)
The Xbox 360 Quick Charge Kit has a suggested retail price of $29.99 and comes equipped with a stand for charging two batteries, one NiHM rechargeable battery pack and AC adapter.
The kit is currently only available in North America and will be out shortly in the other regions.
The kit is ideal for those that have two wireless controllers and one charge-while-you-play kit. This way, the second controller can always have at least one charged-up battery pack ready for use.
