i just got a 360 and my friend has had one for 6 months now and has had a lot of technical problems such as daily crashing and freezing. so with my help and a little help from my left fist we got it working perfectly and hasn't crashed once since we did that which was now 11 days ago!!!!!!!!!! hooray for my fist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe what is happening! My son was told 1-3 days to receive the shipping box...1-7 days to repair...1-3 days for return shipping...still waiting! It's been a month! When we call we get i'm sorry...i'm sorry...i'm sorry for the inconvenience...even the supervisor wouldn't help me. Of course she's not anywhere near this country or the x-box itself and she refuses to give me her supervisors name...go figure...She can get me a callback in 24-48 hours! She can't put me on hold and talk to the service department because she can't. I know that Microsoft has more than one phone line...perhaps it's the international rates...What I do know is that it is WRONG! How can they be allowed to give you a different time frame every time you call and then apologize, does it make a difference? 2 hours on the phone with no success and then to be hung up on... He was told that if they couldn't repair it within the 'time frame' which is supposedly 1-7 days...NOT...they would ship out a new machine. If you ask about this you will be put on hold to listen to foreign music and hear yet another apology and how it's just an estimated 'time frame'. I am personally very disappointed in Microsoft Corp. As for their only being a tiny amount of people with problems don't believe it. Xbox 360 has it's own support line to somewhere in timbucktwo but at any rate; you'll wait a long time to talk to someone besides Max the computer generated guy!

Like this article says, like the tiniest amount of people had a problem with their consoles. It only seems like there is a lot here because everyone who had a problem saw this and complained. To you people who had defective xboxes, just because your xbox was defective, doesn't mean they're ALL defective, so stop telling people not to get them, it's just like eating chicken and getting food poisoning and then telling people not to eat chicken, it's stupid. I have an xbox 360 from launch date, it has worked fine since then, but I use a Nyko cooling system just in case. I play on it for about 7 hours a day, and apart from a bit of overheating sticking before I got the cooler, there has been no problems at all. Now quit un-recommending xboxes. Be grateful they're cheaper and just as good as PS3s.
