Dead or Alive 4 to feature unlockable Halo character

Dead or Alive 4 for Xbox 360 will feature an unlockable character from the popular game Halo, as well as a Halo-themed stage.
Team Ninja and Bungie have collaborated to produce the new content for DOA 4, with Bungie head Pete Parsons saying of the collaboration,
“The opportunity to work with Team Ninja and combine our powers to strike yet another blow in our quest for world domination, was too alluring to pass up.
Plus, we just think the idea of putting a Spartan into a DOA game totally kicks ass.”
According to a post on Bungie’s website, Team Ninja took care of the Halo character’s fighting style, while Bungie worked on the story aspects.
The official Tecmo press release reveals that the Halo character is not the Master Chief or Cortana, as was widely thought initially. The mystery character is, in fact, a Spartan known as Spartan-458.
Quite how Spartan-458 wound up in the Dead or Alive universe is unknown at this stage, but Bungie is promising to release the character’s backstory in a future update.
