Xbox Experience: Austria plans mega launch event

Xbox Austria has ambitious plans for the launch of the next generation Xbox. In Austria, the introduction of the Xbox 360 will be accompanied by an 11-day event bonanza entitled “Xbox Experience”.

Xbox Experience will take place in the period of Nov 24 to Dec 4 in Vienna’s MAK (Museum of Applied Arts). Spaced over an area of 1,400 square meters, visitors can expect a unique experience related to the Xbox 360.

The free event takes place every day from 2 pm and is open until late night (with the exception of Dec 1st which is reserved for the Xbox 360 launch party).

Visitors will be able to play-test a number of Xbox 360 games for the first time. Around 100 Xbox 360 systems will be available for this purpose.

For an optimal gaming experience, all games will be presented on Samsung HD LCD televisions. For competitive gamers, many competions and championships will be held during the entire event duration.

The Xbox Experience event will also include an Xbox 360 shop offering the new console, accessories, exclusive merchandise and all launch titles - as long as stocks last.

A cosy chill-out area will invite gamers to take a break or just hang out. Several food and drink corners will be available to supply gamers with energy for further battles and races on the Xbox 360.

At night, the Xbox Experience will change into Austria’s coolest concert and clubbing venue. The finals of the “Xbox 360 Sound Invasion Band Contest” will be held, and big-name live acts and DJs will further provide highest quality entertainment.

More details will become available in early November at the official web site, Xbox-Experience.at
