If you have any way to order the xbox 360 or any idea of where I can get one before Christmas--I would like to have one--I subscribed to the available newsletter although I havent been able to find any in my area or surrounding location to get my son for Christmas! What Microsoft is doing is inhumane. Who didn't know that the 360 was going to sell like crazy? They knew what they were doing. I have been on ebay for about 13 hrs trying to get one because no store, online or off has one, and Microsoft is trying to tell me they're sorry and they didn't know it would happen. If I wasn't a huge gamer, I would have said f*** you to Microsoft. They are also saying that they're losing money on it too. That's a bunch of BS. Too bad it wasn't true. Bottom line is that they knew it was going to be like this and they did nothing about it. Myself and just about everyone I know that has tried to get one are almost to the point of telling Microsoft to go f*** themselves. And if that wasn't enough, alot of the consoles are defective. Well, good job Microsoft, you've made more people pissed off than happy!

I am very concerned at what seems to be nothing more than a marketing ploy. I pre purchased the 360 at the beginning of August and I am sure that Microsoft must have seen the number of units that were being pre purchased, yet have apparently done nothing to meet the growing demand. Whether or not it was the retailer or Microsoft that made the empty promises that 360's would be available on Nov 22nd, it must have been abundantly clear that demand was up. I was a Sony Playstation exclusive gamer but found the Xbox a little faster. That apparently means the processors only. I am seriously considering returning to the Playstation format. They have always delivered when they said they would. Given that was a bit premature with the Gran Turismo 2 release. I am getting the " you need to talk to your retailer" routine from Micrsoft, and the " you need to talk to Microsoft" routine from my retailer and yet I can't get a straight answer from either. I guess I am a bit naive to think that it is still about gaming loyalty and not the almighty marketing dollar. Sincerely, Fredrick Dinwiddie
