| Has anyone ran through an obscene amount of consoles. I got an Elite for fathers day(1 week ago) and it crashed on Wednesday. I was upset but I figured one bad apple ... Well today I got a premium package plugged it in and it never even booted up red ring straight out the box!!! Should I give up? I really like the game selection but how can one have any confidence in the long run when a product behaves like this. |

| No i wouldn't give up just yet I've had similar experiences of the xbox crashing. I'm personally on my third console and what some other gamers have told me is that when u get the red rings send it off to MS and they will fix it free of charge and the will basically either give you a new xbox that has new and improved cooling system or they will just install the new cooling system in your old xbox. |
