i just brang out my old school SNES system and it absolutely rocks.... i forgot how good it really was!! out came mario and the all the old classics!!
i have to say that super mario bros would have to be my favorite game of all time!!! |

Sumtimes its hard to separ8 betwEen games and that but ur right kenG. MariO bros is an abolute clasSic!
Whether its numbr 1 is debataBle but. Certainly up ther. ThE old scul games seem to hAve sumthin that new games lack.

this is the kind of debate nobody will ever be able to settle... its all really a matter of opinion with old games versus new...
i think the great thing about older games is that you can play em and you get something completley different to what you get these day.
obviously newer games have better graphics but they are not the only factor... the simplicity of some old classics is what makes them that good...
in saying all that it is my opinion that super mario bros is indeed one of the greatest games of all time and its a game i can still sit down with today and play for hours without getting bored.. |

| i never said i didtn like games like halo and fable... infact i reckon halo is wicked and i cant wait for the next one to come out.... all i was saying is that i still rate the old school games like mario are you can still play em and have a heaps of fun... |

Super Mario Bros will forever be number one in my mind.
Its had such a huge impact on the entire industry and is something you can still have fun playing today. |

Mario is still alive and kicking today. He is a franchise that will never die and it will be interesting to see how good the new game will be on the revolution (i assume they are making one ). With the backwards capabilites of the revolution we should also be able to play the classics.
All of a sudden the revolution sounds awefully good. Bring on the revolution  |
