I don’t know what the author is talking about really, i dont know how a supply shortage is a concession of defeat at all, i want to be here to laugh when microsoft takes more marketshare this generation than last from sony. At this point most news is speculaton and must be taken with a grain of salt, just like reports that the PS3 launch will be delayed until 2007, while possible, improbable.

I also want to point out that selling 300k+ units out of 300k+ units shipped or a 100% sales ration ISNT BAD, if microsoft had shipped 500K units or more like sony did with the PS2 they would have ALL SOLD OUT, demand is that high, i believe M$ will meet their goal of 3 million units sold in 90 days if they can produce that many, if not they will sell whatever they can produce.
