Like this article says, like the tiniest amount of people had a problem with their consoles. It only seems like there is a lot here because everyone who had a problem saw this and complained.

To you people who had defective xboxes, just because your xbox was defective, doesn’t mean they’re ALL defective, so stop telling people not to get them, it’s just like eating chicken and getting food poisoning and then telling people not to eat chicken, it’s stupid.

I have an xbox 360 from launch date, it has worked fine since then, but I use a Nyko cooling system just in case. I play on it for about 7 hours a day, and apart from a bit of overheating sticking before I got the cooler, there has been no problems at all.

Now quit un-recommending xboxes. Be grateful they’re cheaper and just as good as PS3s.
