You think there are “hick towns” out here in the Midwest perhaps with toms of consoles - dream on. Best Buy’s in towns if several hundred thousand people are only receiving 15 consoles. Don’t even think about other stores where they trickle in from time-to-time in quantities of less than 10 only to be consumed by employees of the chain - I’m assuming some of those on ebay and amazon come from this stock that never makes it to the shelf.

How would you like to spend hours every morning for a week in sub-zero (that’s like -2 to -10) temperatures only to be told the store has none available?

Maybe those of you in the large cities which have multiple chains and supplies channels would like to trade with those that HAVE TO RELY on Best Buy to get a few. In a town of over 300,000, less than 75 consoles have been shipped and all were gone within mintues.

I would agree that perhaps MS should completely stop marketing the 360 if they cannot deliver product to parents (versus the teens sitting out all night without any responsibilities or giving to charity) who are attempting to provide something special for the holidays for their kids which have been working toward this time of year and living up to or surpassing expectations of their parents.

Another thing, thanks MS for your continued support of MCSE’s. You’ve been consistent regarding your marketing to get Windows sold and spouting numbers of certified engineers - which all added to your billions. Yet, you are still unable to provide those same engineers with any perks. How about next time selling some through MSDN.

Maybe a PS3 is about to enter my MS centric household; let’s all hope Sony can interface with MCE.
