The issue is not upgrading the storage of the xbox…it is the interconnectivity to a device that already has lots of storage
(i.e. your computer) to make up the difference. My pc has a 250 GB HD as it is, and it is not even new. In 5 years pcs will have much more storage. MS is talking about how you will be able to stream HD movies to your 360 from your PC…why not games as well? Newer data transfer technology will make this quick.
